When GoFullPage is a good fit
If your main task is capturing how a webpage looks, GoFullPage offers a straightforward workflow: capture the page, then download an image or PDF.

When PageSaver offers more of what you need
A screenshot is useful for preserving a page’s appearance. Reading, collecting research, and reusing content can call for different formats.
PageSaver supports full-page PNG and PDF capture, plus Reader Mode for extracting the main article into a cleaner PDF. PixelPDF provides separate browser-based tools for those tasks, including merging, splitting, cropping, compression, and signing. Documents are processed in your browser without uploading the files.
You can also build a PDF workflow that combines operations—for example, merge your saved PDFs, add page numbers, and compress the result.

Need searchable text? Consider PageSaver PDF for Mac
A PDF file can contain a screenshot of text or actual text you can select and search. The distinction matters when you need to find a phrase, copy a passage, or keep working links.
PageSaver PDF for Mac is a separate app that renders webpages into PDFs with searchable, selectable text. Open the page inside the app, sign in if necessary, and export it.
It provides another capture route when an extension struggles with a page. Results still depend on the website and its content; text embedded in an image does not automatically become selectable webpage text.
