Samsung is set to launch two new Galaxy Tab 3 tablets, an 8-inch and a 10.1-inch model, enhancing its product portfolio. The 8-inch variant will feature a 1.5 GHz Exynos dual-core processor, 1.5 GB RAM, and a 1280x800 WXGA TFT display. Notably, the 10.1-inch version marks the first Galaxy Tab 3 to incorporate an Intel dual-core processor, running at 1.6 GHz, alongside 1 GB RAM and the same display resolution. Both devices will ship with Android 4.2.2 and are expected to be available this month, though pricing details remain undisclosed.

According to The Verge, Samsung will enhance its product army by unveiling two new tablet devices, they are 8 inch and 10.1 inch Galaxy Tab 3.

The configuration details of 8 inch Galaxy Tab 3 are:

  • 1.5 GHz Exynos dual core processor
  • WXGA TFT display screen, resolution is 1280x800 px and 189 PPI
  • The main camera is 8 megapixel, 1.3 megapixel front camera
  • 4450 mAh battery
  • 1.5 GB RAM
  • 16GB/32GB storage space

The configuration details of 10.1 inch Galaxy Tab 3 are:

  • 1.6 GHz Intel dual-core processor
  • WXGA TFT display frequency with a resolution of 1280x800, 149 PPI
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 6800 mAh battery
  • 16GB/32GB storage space
  • 3 megapixel main camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera

This is also the first model of Galaxy Tab 3 which uses Intel processor, the above two products will come with Android 4.2.2. They are expected to be on sale this month but we still don't know the price yet.
