According to a person who knows the Acer tablet project, Acer Iconia B1 configuration will be similar to those of Amazon Kindle Fire and Barnes & Noble Nook Color Tablet, the price will be $40 cheaper compared to these two tablets which have a price of $139. Acer Iconia B1 will adopt a 7-inch screen with resolution of 1024 × 600 , powered by Android 4.1.2 system, 1.2GHz MTK dual-core processor, 512M memory and 8 GB storage.
"In response to the trend of tablet prices are getting lower and lower, in fact, Acer planned to launch tablet no more than $100 a few months ago, this will be the major turning point of Acer strategy.
