Description
Think Python is an introduction to Python by Allen B. Downey for people who have never programmed before, or who have tried and had a hard time. The third edition is published entirely as Jupyter notebooks, so readers can read the text, run the code and work on the exercises in one place, and the notebooks can be opened on Colab. The text has been substantially revised from earlier editions, and each chapter ends with suggestions for using AI tools to learn more. The whole book is free to read online under a Creative Commons license, with print and ebook versions available for purchase. A gentle and well-tested first book for beginners and for developers teaching others.
