Description
LWN.net (originally Linux Weekly News) is a technical webzine launched in 1998 that delivers in-depth, analyst-driven coverage of Linux and open-source software development. It publishes daily and weekly content—including kernel development insights, security notifications, distro updates, and community happenings—often accompanied by thoughtful discussion threads. Much of the newest, longer articles are initially reserved for subscribers and then become freely available after two weeks, a model that allows LWN to remain both independent and sustainably reader-supported.
