China Telecom reportedly opened pre-orders for the iPhone 7, lending credibility to an imminent September release. Leaked details from their pre-order page, initially shared via Sina Weibo, reveal several key features. These include waterproofing, wireless charging, a longer battery life, and the removal of the traditional headphone jack in favor of Bluetooth headphones. Other notable additions are a new deep blue color option, a 32GB base storage, and a 12-megapixel rear camera. Although the pre-order page was quickly removed, an archived version corroborates these findings and suggests a September 9th release date.

There are all kinds of news that iPhone 7 will be released in the coming September. Now the news seems to be convincing. On 26 August, a Sina Weibo(China's Twitter) user @POPPUR posted an weibo which says that China Telecom, one of the largest telecom vendors in China, has opened the pre-order of iPhone 7. Along with this, a few new features of iPhone 7 are also released.

On the photo uploaded, there are a few new features of iPhone 7 displayed. They are :

  • Waterproof
  • No headphone jack
  • Wireless charging
  • Longer battery life
  • Bluetooth headphone
  • A new deep blue color model
  • 32G ROM
  • 12 Megapixel rear camera

The above are all can be seen from the photo. There might be more features.

After the news came out, the pre-order page seems to be removed from China Telecom's official website. But after searching through web archiver, the page is archived and can still be accessible.

From the archived page, more information can be derived. i.e, the time for iPhone 7 to release may be 9 September since the page says the pre-order ends on 9 September.
