Electronic products can be seen everywhere in our lives. There are several revolutionary electronic products which affect people's life deeply. The following are seven representative electronic products.

1. Motorola DynaTAC

It is the ancestor of cellphone. DynaTAC is a series of cellular telephones manufactured by Motorola, Inc. from 1983 to 1994. The first model, the 8000x, received FCC certification in 1983,and became the first cell phone to be offered commercially. It weighs 2.5 pounds and can offer 30 minutes talk time. It cost 100 million US dollars and took 10 years to develop the first DynaTAC.

2. Regency TR-1 transistor radio

Regency TR-1 was the first commercially sold transistor radio. It was announced on October 18, 1954 by the Regency Division of I.D.E.A., was put on sale in November 1954. The price was $49.95 and around 150,000 Regency TR-1 radios were sold.

The radio amplification unit uses transistors instead of tubes, thus more compact than the vacuum tube radios and power saving (think about the difference between the first vacuum tube computer and transistor computer). Transistor technology breakthrough meets people's "carry" demand.

3. Zenith

In 1956, Robert Adler developed "Zenith Space Command", a wireless remote. It was mechanical and used ultrasound to change the channel and volume. When the user pushed a button on the remote control, it clicked and struck a bar, hence the term "clicker". Each bar emitted a different frequency and circuits in the television detected this sound.

4. Atari 2600

The Atari 2600 is a video game console released in October 1977 by Atari, Inc. It is credited with popularizing the use of microprocessor-based hardware and cartridges containing game code, instead of having non-microprocessor dedicated hardware with all games built in. The first game console to use this format was the Fairchild Channel F; however, the Atari 2600 receives credit for making the plug-in concept popular among the game-playing public.

5. Handheld Barcode Scanner

6. Polaroid camera

7.  iPod/iPhone/iPad

iPod recreated personal music player, iPhone reinvented the phone and iPad redefined tablet PC. iSeries products have changed every aspect of our life.
